This week, we are back with part 2 of a “…Shoulda Been Huge!!!” episode for Halifax, NS, Canada’s very own: SLOAN! Sloan is the quintessential Canadian power-pop act—that blends '70s hard rock riffs, Beatles-esque vocal harmonies, and indie rock grit has won them gold albums and a Juno in their home country. This is our celebration of an amazing power trio from New Orleans / Long Island that has been largely forgotten in the pantheon of rock n’ roll. They also happen to be very musically proficient, with a bona fide guitar god in the band that rarely gets the praise he deserves! This episode is rooted in our Should Have Been category.
