My word for this year is “peak health”. Not just physically, but across my business, finances, relationships and life. And the more I pursue it this year, the more I realise something important: peak health isn’t created through big dramatic changes or heroic bursts of motivation. It’s built through small, consistent habits layered day after day. In this episode, I’m sharing seven of the micro habits that support my energy, mindset, and resilience… from the ones I’ve practised for over 15 years to a few I’ve added more recently. These aren’t performative or overly laborious wellness routines. They’re the small things I do consistently behind the scenes that help me feel clearer, stronger and more grounded as I build my business and life. I cover: Why micro habits are so powerful for nervous system regulation How tiny daily practices compound into massive long-term wellbeing The connection between identity and daily habits Why trying to change too much at once usually backfires This episode is NOT about perfection or adding ten new habits overnight! It’s about choosing one small shift that supports the life and business you’re building. The podcast is going on a break for April - I’ll be back in May with a batch of fresh conversations to share with you. This episode is a little different. As we move into the final days before Bold Darling doors close (on 26th March), I wanted to sit down and answer some of the questions that have been coming through in my DMs and conversations lately. The questions you ask are never random. They reveal where you are in your business, what you’re navigating behind the scenes, and how ready you are for your next level. In this direct (but loving!) episode, I answer: “How do I balance being in my masculine in business and then switching into my feminine at home? I feel like I’m in CEO mode all the time!” “I want to grow and make more money, but I’m already stressed. What do I do when scaling feels overwhelming?” “What financial support do I need to put in place as I scale? How involved should I be as the business owner?” “I’ve made a lot of mistakes building my team - how do I actually do it well?” “Please share all and any efficiency tips” Underneath all of this, we’re REALLY talking about identity, energy, structure, and leadership, because you scale by becoming the woman who leads differently, builds a business that supports her, and surrounds herself with the right level of conversation and support. If you’ve been listening and finding yourself thinking, “This is the level I want to operate at”... Doors to my Bold Darling Mastermind are closing on Thursday 26th February. I would love to welcome you inside. Visit bolddarling.com to explore. Why do the same challenges keep appearing for women building businesses… no matter the industry, stage or personality? After eight years mentoring female founders, and working with thousands of women through retreats, programs and private mentoring, I’ve started to notice something pretty striking. The businesses may be very different. The women themselves certainly are. Yet the same patterns tend to surface again and again. Certain conversations repeat and certain reminders land at exactly the moment a founder needs to hear them. They are often deceptively simple ideas, but they have a way of shifting how a woman leads her business almost immediately. In this bonus episode, I’m sharing a handful of the advice I share most often with my mentees. These are nuggets drawn directly from years of mentoring women as they navigate the realities of building and scaling their companies. They span leadership, personal standards, and the often overlooked role that energy, capacity and self-leadership play in sustainable growth. Because while strategy matters, the way a woman leads herself is what really shapes the trajectory of her business. If this conversation resonates with you, it will also give you a sense of the philosophy behind my Bold Darling Mastermind. Inside Bold Darling, we go much deeper into this work, supporting women to implement these principles within their businesses in a way that is strategic, sustainable and expansive. Doors are open until midnight Thursday 26th March. Visit bolddarling.com to explore. Burnout has become strangely normal in the entrepreneurial world, particularly for women. Late nights. Weekend work. Saying no to life so the business can keep growing. Many founders truly believe that success requires sacrifice. In this episode, I challenge that belief head-on. I share why burnout isn’t a strategy problem, it’s a design problem, and why so many businesses are structured in ways that drain the very women building them. I also pull back the curtain on how I intentionally designed my own business and life since my burnout-adjacent experience in 2019, including working three and a half days a week while continuing to grow a thriving business. You’ll hear real examples from Bold Darling members who have redesigned their businesses to create more space, more calm, and more sustainable success. Have you found yourself saying these phrases a lot?! “It’ll calm down soon.” “I just need to push through this season.” “I want to scale, but I’m already maxed out.” If so, this episode will challenge you to rethink what success actually requires, and what might be possible when you design your business differently. This conversation feels deeply special. In today’s episode, I’m joined by Olivia Green, Founder of North Side Speech Pathology, co-founder of Minds in Bloom AND member of my Bold Darling Mastermind. Six years ago, Olivia was driving between clients with everything in her car, sometimes breastfeeding her four-month-old between sessions. Today? She leads a team of 12 clinicians, runs a thriving clinic space, and has expanded into a second venture supporting neurodivergent students in schools. Oh and she’s had another child. But what I love most about Olivia isn’t the growth. It’s how she’s grown. She’s steady, grounded, strategic and consistent. In this episode, Olivia and I cover: The key decisions that moved her from solo operator to founder The internal shifts that had to happen before her external expansion Why she rejects flashy growth models How she blends motherhood, marriage, fitness, and leadership The boundaries that protect her energy The role accountability has played in her execution What changed when she stepped into Bold Darling If you’re building something meaningful and want success that doesn’t cost you your life, this conversation will land deeply. This episode brings my four-part series on the essential pillars of sustainable success to a close. We’re finishing with the most underestimated pillar of all… identity. You can have the energy, the strategy, and the mindset… but if your identity hasn’t caught up to the life or business you’re trying to build, you’ll keep hitting invisible ceilings. In this episode, I unpack why identity is the lens through which every business decision is made, from pricing and leadership to visibility, risk, and growth. I dive into the origin of how we unconsciously play small and why so many founders stumble as they scale. I also share the identity shifts that have made the biggest difference in my own journey. This is a conversation about shedding old stories, building a bigger internal container, and stepping into the version of you who can actually hold the success you’re working towards. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing all the right things but still can’t quite break through to the next level, this episode is for you. In this week’s episode, I continue my four-part series on the core pillars of success for women in business. This week I’m focusing on mindset. Mindset isn’t about fixing yourself or forcing positivity. It’s about how you navigate your inner world when things wobble…. because they will! Especially when you’re holding a lot. I explore why mindset work is particularly critical for women, the subtle ways self-doubt shows up at leadership level, and how seemingly harmless thoughts can quietly stall momentum if left unchecked. We talk about the difference between a normal mindset dip and a full-blown spiral, why resistance often appears right before growth, and how resilience is the real skillset founders need to cultivate. I also share practical reflections on rest, boundaries, self-coaching, and why fun and pleasure are often the missing strategic levers in high-performing women’s lives. Strategy doesn’t have to feel heavy, complicated or overwhelming, I promise! In this episode, my mission is to soften it for you. As part two of my four-part series on the pillars, this week, I’m zooming in on smart strategy, and reimagining what strategy can look like when it’s designed to support you first. In this conversation, I simplify strategy right down to its essence and explore why traditional, overly masculine approaches often leave women feeling stuck, scattered or burnt out, despite working incredibly hard. I also share how strategy can become a sacred, supportive structure rather than a pressure-filled to-do list, and why clarity, not complexity, is what actually creates momentum. If you’ve ever felt busy but not really moving forward, overwhelmed by planning, or unsure what to focus on next, this episode will help you reframe strategy as the bridge between where you are now and the life and business you actually want. What if the success of your business wasn’t coming down to better planning or bigger ideas… but better energy? This episode kicks off a brand new four-part series on the pillars I believe underpin sustainable success in business: Energy, Strategy, Mindset and Identity. I’m starting with the one that underpins everything else: Energy. In this conversation, I explore why energy isn’t a “nice to have” or a self-care add-on, it’s the electricity your business actually runs on. From decision-making and visibility, to leadership, money and pricing, the way you show up energetically shapes far more than most women realise. I also share why treating rest as a reward is one of the fastest paths to burnout, how low energy keeps you stuck in survival mode, and why protecting your energy is a strategic responsibility, not a luxury. This episode is an invitation to reframe how you think about success in 2026… and to ask a different question entirely: what if your energy became your most important KPI? Staying excited about your goals is easy in January… But staying aligned, energised, and consistent as the year unfolds? That’s where most people slip. In this episode, I’m shifting the conversation from setting goals to what actually matters: how to stay on track with them in 2026. And to do that without burning out, overwhelming yourself, or losing momentum halfway through the year. I explore: Why energy management isn’t a luxury The real reason annual plans often fail high-performing women What it really takes to create sustainable progress that compounds over time The nitty-gritty deets on how I structure my year to hold growth without collapse I also share a special listener-only discount inside the episode for my Elevated Strategy Method, my new program that will help you set goals, but keep them track. What happens when the woman who “had it all” - the multi-million-dollar business, awards, and all the gold stars - suddenly finds herself lonely with a baby in the rainforest, wondering where she went? In this episode, I sit with Kady O’Connell on her podcast, SEEN, to talk about the identity shifts behind success, motherhood, and building a business that doesn’t cost your marriage, health, or sanity. In this week’s episode of The Lorraine Murphy Show , I sit down with one of my favourite humans to learn from, the brilliant Tim Duggan. Since our last conversation, Tim has been through a huge personal and professional evolution: establishing his post-exit life, redefining his identity, writing multiple books, and travelling the country in a camper van. This chat is expansive, raw, and full of practical wisdom for anyone navigating big transitions, stepping out of old versions of themselves, or wondering what comes after achieving the goal you once dreamed of. Here’s what we dive into: What it really feels like to step away from a business you built (including the emotional and identity unravelling) How Tim reimagined his life and work after leaving Junkee - and the surprising clarity found on a six-month camper van trip The creative process behind his books, his writing practice, and what’s currently inspiring his next chapter We also explore the difference between founder life and corporate life, why Tim refuses to be boxed in, the power of becoming a translator of your industry, and his beautifully refreshing take on sustainable content creation (hello, MVP). It’s a conversation that will meet you exactly where you’re at, whether you're craving reinvention, more spaciousness, or permission to build your life backwards from what matters most. This week on the show, I’m sharing one of my favourite episodes of the entire year: my personal highs & lows. Every December, I carve out time to look back on the year that was - the lessons, the wins, the challenges, the magic, and the messy bits - and it’s one of the most grounding practices I do. I always say that reflection is how we create closure on a year, but also clarity for the one ahead. I hope this episode encourages you to take a moment for your own reflection ritual as you bid farewell to the year that was 2025. Inside the episode, I take you through the personal highs that shaped me this year. And, of course, I get real about the lows. These end of year episodes are always a reminder that even in the most beautiful seasons, life is always offering us contrast. Thank you for being here for another year of this show. This week on The Lorraine Murphy Show , I’m joined by someone who has been woven through my life and career for over 16 years - the magical and deeply grounded Claire Obeid. Our paths first crossed in our beauty PR days, then rejoined years later as we each moved into our own worlds of business, motherhood, and personal evolution. Claire has supported me through huge chapters, co-hosted retreats with me, and been one of the most extraordinary teachers in my life. In this conversation, we explore our shared history, how Claire’s work has evolved, and the deep potency behind what she does today. We talk about authenticity, alignment, perfection vs. wholeness, and the liberation that comes from embracing the parts of ourselves we once saw as “not enough.” If you’re craving a new tool, spiritual connection and a reminder of your own magic, this episode will land beautifully for you.
