That's right, we're covering FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN We break down the absurd plot of Jason's cruise ship experience, talk about the script that could have been, try to find other vacation destinations for Jason, and possibly assign Webster a new nickname. Season 6 is in the books folks! As we close out the season we’re revisiting some of our favorite (and least favorite) horror films released in 2024 so far, as well as anticipating what is up next before we take our hiatus. In our latest anatomy of an adaptation, we hilariously breakdown the THREE versions of OLDBOY, from the iconic 2003 Korean adaptation, its manga source material, and the American remake. We are only kind to one of these adaptations, but let's see how different they are? We turn our play-by-play format on its head by cover three distinct versions of one story at the same time (weird, but it works), remake iconic American films BADLY (in honor of the 2013 version of the story), and dive deep into the darkest aspects of Korean cinema. It's a good one for a classic story!

Our bi-annual tradition continues as and gets closer to is conclusion than ever... with a movie we got A LOT to say about. Myers' penultimate tale is here with David Gordon Green's HALLOWEEN KILLS! We go through a very thorough play-by-play, discuss certain world-changing events that changed this movie's release, and provide our OWN version of the Myers/Strode showdown in the context of Wrestlemania 40... it makes sense, trust us!

There are a lot of movies out this year so far, and we got takes! We're hard at work on our next big episode, but while you wait how about our thoughts on some of the more recent horror/sci-fi entries in cinemas right now? Not enough? Most likely. Phill and Anthony weren't the biggest fans, but you know what they are fans of? Quoting literally any other movie instead of talking about this one. It's short but fun, check it out!

Birthday month concludes with a look at one of Anthony's favorite creators and his most influential creation. Sci-Fi mixes with social commentary and completely changes the game in Rod Serling's THE TWILIGHT ZONE!
