Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. This week, Paul has made his long-awaited return, and he and Karl are once again at the helm for the show. They are joined by a duo of NRL gurus in Searley and Nick Tedeschi to round out the panel. We kick things off today once again with the betting recap from Round 21 action. Then, we move into a new game where the panel, in a snake draft, choose the four teams they would hypothetically follow and support. Next up, the team play a staple of the show, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. Then, of course, the lads round off the show with their picks for this weekend’s slate.
Best Try Ever? Aysh Owns It | The Advantage Line | Episode 23
Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. This week, the show is led by Karl as host, and he is joined by NRL guru Nick Tedeschi and former NRL player Blake Ayshford. To start off, the trio run through the betting recap for the whole TAL from Round 20, where everyone hit their best bet but came up short on all other fronts. Next up, the team plays “This or That” as they go through and try to choose the greatest try of all time. From there, it was of course time to visit this weekend’s slate, preview the games and make their picks for Round 21 to close out the show.

Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. A different feel to this week’s edition of the podcast, as there is a four-man panel but one key cog missing, with Paul not making the line-up. Regardless, the show had to go on, and it started with the lads covering off the previous weekend’s action, the results of their tips and where they sit in the comp across the season. Next up, would it be an Advantage Line podcast episode without a new game being introduced? This one has been described as elite, and we can confirm it was an absolute beauty. And of course, to close out the action, the lads preview this weekend’s upcoming action and make their picks across the slate!
No Carl, Plenty Of Chaos! | The Advantage Line | Episode 21
Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. With the podcast staying true to its chaotic fashion, it opens with Teddy disappearing due to Wi-Fi issues, leaving Blake and Paul to take the reins. The dynamic duo take it upon themselves to discuss the upcoming matchweek, and while doing that in heroic fashion, Teddy reappears on the show after driving to the local library to use their Wi-Fi. To make it three weeks on the bounce, another new game is introduced and, without Carl, it is absolute carnage. The show closes with a huge bombshell, as Teddy has finally seen the light when it comes to the Wahs, and some might say he’s now a fan!

It is decider time in this year’s State of Origin and everything is on the line. Before we get into the stats, previews we see if the team can do a little lipsync battle. Trying to figure out famous State of Origin sayings. Let’s hope Paul’s picks for State of Origin are better than his lip reading skills. Of course, we look ahead to the big game this Wednesday and who will be siding with the Blues and who thinks Queensland will be taking out the series?

Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. The team is back together and gets stuck into all the important news and results surrounding the great game of rugby league including Paul's devastating injury.. To start the show, yet another new game was introduced, as the panel were given a criteria of players and then had to try to come up with a name that no one else would. After the new game, the lads turn back to last week’s game of “Six Again or Play On”, where Karl mentions a topic and the panel choose if it’s worth discussing. Of course, the meat and potatoes of the show were touched on, with the team continuing their season-long punting contest as a new set of picks rounded out the episode.

We had the small matter of Origin. What an absolute banger Game 1 was. The BIG talking point was that sending off. Was it the right call? You can probably guess what Teddy thinks. Despite both teams losing players to Origin the Panthers and the Warriors should we they are leading the NRL ladder as they put on a classic. Was this a preview of a potential final between the teams. We look ahead to this weekend’s games which sadly don’t include the Warriors, but there is still plenty of quality on offer, but can he live up to the action of the past week?

Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. #CouchGate continues to dominate the opening few minutes of the The Advantage Line podcast. Anyways, it’s Origin Time. The talking is almost all over, the teams are warming up and we couldn’t be anymore pumped for tonight’s game. Speaking of Origin, we discuss the origin of Kiwi’s love for either NSW or QLD. Is NZ a Blues or Maroons nature? Who on the panel is a secret Dragons fan boy, and could they really go an entire season without winning a game? Of course, this weekend we see a top of the table clash between the Wahs and Panthers, but with both teams having players out for Origin who’ll finish the weekend on top is anyone’s guess.

Welcome to another week of The Advantage Line podcast. Tough weekend ahead as the Wahs are on a bye week, but we’ll happily take the opportunity to rest and relax before a tough game against the Broncos. We read YOUR feedback to Teddy. After last week Teddy sparked a social media storm by suggesting you can’t wear a team jersey as a grown. Well, did social media agree or disagree and how does Teddy respond. This week, we’re playing a friendly game of Start, Cut, Bench Dally M winners from various positions. The catch, the panel have to agree on their decision will we be here all night or are some choices easier than the others. The Warriors beat the Eels to go into the bye in second place and we look at where the match was won. Lastly we preview all the upcoming action and ask, can the Storm turn it around.
